This is my first year to share my photos with the daily photo community. Although I will probably not be able to post one every day, I am going to give it my best shot - no pun intended!

May 21 - Lone Tree in Fog

Another image from my visit to Yellowstone on a bad weather day! At least the willow bushes added some color!

May 20 - Auto Seat Springs

This was taken inside the old rusty international truck I posted last week.

Thanks for all the comments on my image I posted Saturday of the reflection of the flag in water that had a layer of gas on it, creating a rainbow effect.

May 18 - Reflection of a flag on the back of a boat who's engine was unfortunately leaking a small amount of gas creating the rainbow effect in the water.

Thank you for your comments on my rusty truck door image! The truck was a fun subject and I'm glad you liked it.

May 17 - International Rust Door Handle

This is the second image of an old rusted International truck I found. I posted one yesterday. I loved the colors and simplicity of the door handle, so I processed this one the same as the one yesterday.

May 16 - International Rust

I saw this old International truck along the road and decided to take some images. I increased the saturation and the detail just a bit. You never know what you are going to get with rust. It really adds interest when the rust in combined with old paint - which is the case in this image.

Thanks so much for your comments on my Norris Geyser Basin! I have some more images I am still working on from Yellowstone and will post more in the future. I could spend days there and never get bored!

May 15 - Steam Rising at Norris Geyser Basin Yellowstone

The basin's geysers shift over a period of time allowing for new tree growth in the midst of the skeletons of the past.

Thank you for your comments on my Wrestling Buffalo shot yesterday. I consider myself lucky every time I get to visit any area of Yellowstone! I love it there!

May 10 - Aspen and Willows

I liked the colors of the white aspen bark and the spring color of the willow bushes. The weather was about the same as it was on the day I took the red barn in the mountains I posted yesterday. Both of these photos were taken in Montana and the weather wasn't always the best. What may look like fog in this background is actually a mix of snow and rain approaching.
